Oglethorpe University uses Merit to share student accomplishments (like dean’s list, academic awards, study abroad, and internships) with each student’s hometown media, high school and state government representatives. These achievements appear on a personalized Merit page for every one of our students.
Founded in 1835, Oglethorpe University is Atlanta’s only co-educational small private college, home to 1250 eclectic and engaged students representing 33 states and 38 countries. Renowned for its groundbreaking Core program, Oglethorpe connects theory and practice through the A_LAB (Atlanta Laboratory for Learning), which serves as an incubator for students’ real-world learning through study abroad, internships, civic engagement, and undergraduate research.
